Our team at Levitate documents your event in a candid, creative and unobtrusive manner. We include traditional formal photos, but we feel that focusing on the non posed, intimate moments that happen naturally, tell a better story of your personalities and relationships. Blending both styles, along with images of the details, settings and venue, we hope to tell the story of your day. A detailed questionnaire is available on your portal, after booking with us, which allows you to let us know some information about your day, so nothing gets overlooked.

Meet The Artist

Bharat Parmar

I’ve been shooting weddings full time for almost 20 years now. After high school, I had no pre determined career path, much to the dismay of my parents. I picked up a camera around the age of seventeen and couldn’t seem to put it down. I then went on to professional photography school at the New England School of Photography, for 2 years. As well as going to school I worked part, then full time in a photo lab. Once I established a strong technical background, I moved on to assisting some of the photographers whos work I admired, to learn their technique and develop my own style. I started my own business 15 years ago combining my contemporary, architectural style of shooting with weddings. I have a fun, candid and editorial approach to my work, as well as a strong drive to provide exceptional customer service to every client. In 2006 I entered my first professional photography competition and won 7 Blue ribbons, in addition to a judges award. I am a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America, The professional Photographers of New England, and the Professional Photographers of Massachusetts.

I was nominated for “best photography in the Boston area” on WBZ TV’s A-List in both 2006 and 2007.
I have been voted a “Best Of” pick by The Knot for 6 years running and last year was placed into their “Hall of Fame”

I have also won the WeddingWire “Bride’s choice” award for the last 7 years running.

In 2017 I was really honored and humbled to have won the Borrowed and Blue award for the best photographer in the Boston area. This one is especially meaningful, as it is voted on by other wedding industry professionals, who I am happy to be in the company of.

Kyle Shepard

Kyle Shepard is a passionate professional photographer who uses quality state of the art equipment that allows him to produce a beautiful and elegant final product.  He approaches each opportunity with a unique perspective while tailoring to the needs and circumstances of each client.  Kyle’s creative touch and knowledge of photography contribute to his vision for a final product.


Based on Kyle’s enthusiasm, he is always looking for ways to further develop in his profession and hone and improve his skills.  He takes great pride and satisfaction in providing the customer photographs that capture not only the moments, but the emotions associated.  Kyle’s  unique ability to turn moments into memories in a variety of venues allows the viewer to feel immersed in the landscape.


Kyle’s experience includes being on set with Wicked Bites TV Series, Steve Schloss Full Service Content Creation and Video Production Company and a number of wedding venues.  Kyle has a degree from Stonehill College.  His experience playing  minor league baseball and supporting children with challenging behaviors and their families provides him a unique perspective to his photography skills.

Chris Lyons

I began with a quote that means great deal to me. I began photographing landscapes and the occasional portrait. I could feel that something was missing.
Then it happened……..I shot my first wedding!
The love and feelings that are present at a wedding make it different from any other type of event. I know, sometimes more than others, that we want a moment to last forever. Those are the moments I want to capture. I shoot a blend of traditional, photo-journalistic, and contemporary. Along with weddings I primarily photograph portfolio work for models, headshots, family portraits, and senior portraits

Danielle Marie

I’m a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. How you met the love of your life, happened for a reason. How you got to my little corner of the internet, right here right now, happened for a reason. How I started photographing for a living, happened for a reason. Back when the world shut down (thanks to COVID) in 2020 I has made the shift from a photography hobbyist to a full fledged working photographer when a friend asked BEGGED me to photograph her wedding because, in a time when the future of the world was unknown, she couldn’t find anyone else. At first the thought of photographing a wedding was terrifying. WEDDINGS ARE A HUGE DEAL! And I didn’t want to let her down, but reluctantly I took the job and that moment sparked a future of photographing love of all kinds for the foreseeable future. Sometimes you have to take scary leaps to create happiness you never knew you were missing
